Setup development

If you are familiar with any form of motorsport you know that in order to achieve good results, it is crucial to have a good setup. Not finding the right balance can dramatically affect the pace and consistency of lap times and the confidence of the driver.

Understanding the vehicle’s balance limitations is crucial to know what to change in the setup.

In the SimRacing universe, we have an almost unlimited time of testing and practice. However, it would be still impossible to test all possible setup combinations. Just as an example, a car with 10 different front and rear anti-roll bar positions will have at least 100 different possible setups!

As you might have understood, setup development can be a time-consuming and tiring process. Understanding the action-reaction of every modification is a big asset to tweak the setup in the right way. That is why our background in engineering and race car dynamics can be of most value to you.

Primis believes in the principle that each driver-vehicle-track combination implies a different optimal vehicle setup. Different drivers will have different driving styles, as different cars can have completely unrelated behaviour even if in the same category.

Instead of providing you with a common general setup, we will work with you to make sure that every change is made with the single purpose of making you fast, consistent and comfortable with a tailored personal setup to fit your needs.

Similarly to our Driver Training service, you will be accompanied live by one of our engineers during the full session. He will be receiving your feedback and combining it with telemetry analysis to decide the next step on the setup development process, all to make sure you have the fastest, most consistent and comfortable setup you could possibly require.

Struggling with your setup? Take a “brake” and send us a message!
